What is your area of expertise within the dental industry?
I practice clinical dentistry as well as research, consult, write, and present on a variety of topics, focusing on ergonomics, practice management, communications, and women in dental practice.

What is the next big trend we will see in the field of dentistry?

Women are the new norm in dentistry. The trend will involve more ergonomic equipment to enhance and increase practice longevity for all practitioners, especially the woman dentist.

If you were not working in the dental arena, what would be your dream job?
I would love to be a concierge in a hotel in Kauai.

When you are searching for dental material online, where do you go to find it?
Google is my friend. I will search in both the manufacturer’s website and trusted publications. I will also contact some of my Facebook friends who are key opinion leaders as well as communicating with other industry leaders.

I prefer a laptop. I use all four at various times during the day.
