A Unique Holiday Gift Idea
I just decided what to get my friends John and Erin this year for the holidays. They are a great couple who have everything they could ever want, and are truly difficult to buy gifts for. Historically, I would get them a dinner for two at a unique restaurant, or a couple’s massage/spa package. Well, I’m going to go out on a limb and buy each of them a gift certificate for a cleaning with my RDH!
What could be better? Am I the only one who feels like I’m walking on a cloud after a great prophy?!? I have had incredible massages at spas and resort, but what could be better than an hour to rejuvenate one’s smile?!?
I may be onto something. I think I’m going to call my dentist and see if I can negotiate a 10-pack of cleanings at the practice with my RDH. Heck, he might even get some new patients out of it! I also guarantee that my Hygienist will do a great job educating my gift recipients on proper oral health!

That sounds like a great idea. You would just have to make sure the person wasn’t the type to get offended! I spoke with a lady the other day who bought a dental plan for her son for Christmas and was going to pay for his cleaning. I think it’s so creative to get someone something they really truly can use!
